U.S. John Kerry made stops in Dartmouth and New Bedford on Tuesday to assess storm damage caused by winds and rain from Hurricane Sandy.  During a news briefing from City Hall, Kerry said federal personnel are already on the ground in Massachusetts, assessing damage along the Southcoast, and the North and South Shores.

Because President Obama has already signed an emergency declaration for the region, Kerry says if this region qualifies for federal aid, it will get it.  Congressman William Keating also attended the news briefing.
