Kennedy-Donovan Center Fundraiser Rocks On

The Kennedy-Donovan Center will be setting up the rocking chairs at their New Bedford campus for the 21st annual Rock-A-Thon.

Organizer Heidi Perriera calls the event their biggest fundraiser and says the money they raise allows them to fund many of their programs that help those with developmental disabilities.

This year's rockers included State Senator Mark Montigny and New Bedford City Councilor Brian Gomes.

The 21st annual Rock-A-Thon took place Friday from 9:30a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Kennedy-Donovan Center at the corner of Hawthorn and County Streets in New Bedford.
