I do not make a habit of drinking alcoholic beverages at 8 AM, on air. But lucky for me, "Red, White & Brew" is tonight at Buttonwood Park Zoo. That meant I was allowed to sample craft beers on air yesterday. I LOVE MY JOB!

I am not a huge fan of beer. I prefer sweeter cocktails and moscato wine. One of my missions for this summer is to hunt down a beer I actually like. Jake Bettencourt and Mike Costa of Colonial Wholesale Liquors in Dartmouth analyzed my sweet tooth and paired it with a few drinks that I might enjoy...and boy, did I!

I tried Leinenkugel's Grapefruit Shandy, Sea Dog's Sunfish, and Shipyard's Melonhead. All three were really refreshing drinks that I could see myself sipping all summer long. If you'd like to sample these delicious drinks as well as hundreds of others, checkout the beer festival at Buttonwood Park Zoo TONIGHT!
