A judge is expected to hear arguments on a motion by lawyers for former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez to suppress evidence in his murder trial.

Hernandez is awaiting trial in the 2013 killing of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd. His lawyers have asked a judge to throw out much of the evidence in the case, including anything they discovered during what they say was an unlawful police interrogation.

Lloyd's body was found about a mile from Hernandez's home in North Attleborough. Lloyd had been dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder in Lloyd's shooting death. He is also charged in a separate 2012 Boston case accusing him in the deaths of two men he encountered briefly at a Boston nightclub.

The hearing will be held Tuesday in Fall River Superior Court.
