A judge has ruled that a lawsuit against former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling can move forward.

Officials in Rhode Island claim Schilling and a dozen of his business cohorts duped the state's economic development arm out of 75-million in loan guarantees.

Schilling's video game company known as "38 Studios" filed for bankruptcy last year, leaving the state agency on the hook. Rhode Island used the money to lure the company from Massachusetts to the Ocean State.
