Joyrider Steals and Returns Dump Truck in Brockton

BROCKTON — A Brockton auto body shop owner is hoping to find the man who hopped into his company's dump truck and took it for a joyride.

Fran Fistori says he has surveillance footage that shows the suspect climbing into the truck, hot-wiring it, then taking off through a fence early Monday.

About 45 minutes after the theft, the truck crashed back into the lot and the man fled.

Fistori estimates the joyride caused over ten-thousand dollars in damages.
