It's been a rough season for the Boston Red Sox, particularly the pitching staff, which was once held in such high esteem.

Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester takes another loss on Tuesday. Boston lost to the Texas Rangers 6-3. In that loss, Lester gave up four runs on six hits and picks up loss number 10. His record is far different this year than it was last year when he finished up 15-9.

It's been well over a month since Lester last won a game. He's not getting the help from the Boston offense. After the game, Lester said that he doesn't want to keep talking about being frustrated, because everyone knows the team is frustrated.

Right now Boston is nine games back of first place in the AL East, and 4.5 games out of wildcard contention.
