John Kerry’s Confirmation Hearing Next Week

U.S. Senator John Kerry's confirmation hearing for Secretary of State has been scheduled for next week. 

Unofficial sources, report that Kerry will appear before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee January 24th.  Kerry is expected to win speedy confirmation from the full Senate.  That should clear the way for a Massachusetts special election sometime in July to fill his vacant Senate Seat.
