Two legendary groups shook the foundation of the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center more than any earthquake could!

Launching a month of March Gladness, local celebrities John Cafferty, Michael "Tunes" Antunes, Jackie Santos and Matt Antunes were welcomed with enormous energy as John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band opened the night with a great mix of timeless classics, like triple platinum "On The Dark Side," Billboard #1 hit "Tough All Over," Top 20 "C-I-T-Y," and "Hearts of Fire," featured in the Sylvester Stallone film, Rocky IV, receiving a double platinum soundtrack award. Between Tunes belting out his unadulterated sax and the rest of the group doing their thing, they were over-the-top great!

And Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, internationally renowned for decades, launched March Gladness with their gritty, stonesy, Memphis Stax influenced R & B. Their one-of-a-kind style influenced the creativity of Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. They were in rare form as local concert goers got more than their money's worth. What a great night of legendary musical magic!

As John Cafferty said, " I'd like to think our shows are pretty exciting. We play stuff that's fun, dramatic, romantic and serious. We want people to feel like they're glad they came out." And we are!
