Shayanna Jenkins Lawyer Blasts Bristol DA Sutter

The lawyer for Aaron Hernandez' fiance has accused Bristol County prosecutors of using "abusive’’ legal tactics against her client.

Attorney Janice Bassil says the DA's office is crossing a line trying to get Shayanna Jenkins to provide information about Hernandez, with whom she has a child. Jenkins has been charged with perjury in a capital case, which could land her life-in-prison.

Hernandez is the former New England Patriots player accused of orchestrating the June 17 murder of Odin Lloyd.
