Not only did the Boston Red Sox suffer a tough, 1-run loss on Monday afternoon to fall one game below .500 on the young season, but they also seem to be sending their starting center fielder, Jackie Bradley Jr., to the DL.

According to an MLB.com report, the Red Sox are expected to place Bradley on the disabled list prior to their games Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles, due to a knee injury.

JBJ apparently first hurt the knee on Saturday, after falling in an attempt to round first base. An MRI in Detroit over the weekend revealed both swelling and a sprain in the right knee.

According to the report, Bradley, who is eligible to return on April 19th, isn't expected to have a prolonged stay on the DL as of now.

In his absence, rookie Andrew Benintendi will likely man center field for the Sox.
