The Jaws of Life were used to save a  trapped puppy in New Bedford.

The unnamed dog put his head through the rod iron bars of an iron railing on Tuesday and got stuck.

Firefighters tell ABC6 the puppy was one of three puppies that was running loose on Circuit St.

Animal Control and the New Bedford Fire Department were called to the scene and were able to get the dog free with the Jaws of Life.

The trapped puppy and his two friends are reportedly all doing fine.
