After a Florida restaurant banned the use of ketchup to anyone over age ten, the world is discussing the condiment.

Mad Fresh Bistro has apparently had limits on ketchup use in place since as early as 2012, but is receiving attention after Yahoo got wind of the story. One commenter on the story writes, "At what point did the service industry become a front for egotism? ...Are we really so egotistical that we are willing to lose business over ketchup or someone who wants the food they are paying for their way?"

Chef-owner of Mad Fresh, Xavier Duclos says, "My burger has got sauce on it already. There's no point in adding a sweet sauce on top of that... I think my flavors work. You don't walk into a museum and tell them to change the color of the painting."

The move has ultimately sparked a larger discussion about chefs and when it's appropriate for them to refuse to alter a dish for a guest. How do you feel about ketchup?
