NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man is arrested for driving while intoxicated, after a witness reported him relieving himself.

New Bedford Police responded to the area of 501 South Second Street around 6:44 p.m. Thursday night after receiving a call of a man urinating outside. Police arrived and determined that the suspect, 25-year-old Armando Cirilo Garcia of New Bedford, was intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle. Furthermore, it was determined Garcia did not have a license.

Garcia is charged with driving under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol, disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.
