Insane Inflatable 5K Takes Over UMass Dartmouth

How do you make running a 5K fun? How about adding lots of big balloons?!

UMass Dartmouth was turned into an adult sized playground Saturday as it played host to the Insane Inflatable 5K that drew nearly 3,500 participants.

Kendra has run her share of 5K's but none have compared to this.

Runners not only had to run five kilometers, but they also had to make it through 12 inflatable obstacles including a ball pit and a 1,000 foot slide.

Co-Creator and Director of Events Stuart Kaul says the race is a chance for adults to just have fun.

After the race participants had the chance to watch other runners and enjoy some food at the midway area. There were also separate races for children under 12.
