Westport held elections Tuesday and unofficial returns from the Town Clerk's Office saw incumbent Selectmen Craig J. Dutra and R. Michael Sullivan beat back challenges from three other candidates to win re-election.

Incumbent Assessor Robert Grillo got more than 66 percent of the vote to defeat challenger William J. Burns.

Housing Authority member Elizabeth A. Collins got 62 percent of the vote defeating Craig A. Mignone.

Andrew Sousa won an open seat on the planning board with 48 percent of the vote.

There were also six questions on the ballot but only two questions were approved by voters.

Voters approved the non-binding question four which call for a vote to change the status of Beach Avenue to Town Beach property and the non-binding question five which calls for Beach Avenue to be kept as a public road.
