The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency transferred 63 detainees last Thursday night from the ICE detention facility at the Bristol County House of Correction. Officials with the federal agency say they took the action because of concerns about the disturbances last week at another part of the House of Correction. Ross Feinstein, a spokesman for ICE, issued a brief statement saying he expects a quick resolution of the matter. The sheriff expects a resolution of the issue with federal officials this week and believes the detainees will return later in the week.
