A program that offers immigrants instruction on english as a second language and provides after-school activities for children is in danger of shutting down at the end of the month.

Sister Barbara Walsh has been leading the program for five years at the Our Lady of Guadalupe convent in the South End.  But now the proeprty is being sold, and Sister Barbara is looking for a new home .

Sister Barbara told WBSM News, others have offered space, but its not large enough to accomdate the 52 people enrolled in the program.

The sister says she needs at least four rooms to continue her program.  If you would like to help, contact Sister Barbara at 508 649-0495.
