If Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, she is proposing to make college tuition at state universities and colleges free for students who come from families with a household income of less than $125,000. Most families will qualify, whether or not the student is academically qualified.

As the Co-Chair of the Business and Economics department at Greenfield Community College tells us free college tuition is a very bad move. Tom Simmons says community colleges are already dumbing down students by giving them financing with tons of rules and regulations designed to get the students in and out with basic classes and standardized tests. Sounds like the Common Core educational mill.

Speaking on the Educational Focus, Simmons, a Congressional candidate in western Massachusetts says when it comes to college staffing, specifically professors, budget cuts will lead to more part-time instructors and less class offerings, even with the influx of tuition-free students. Simmons also claims as more and more students dive in to colleges and universities, the price tag for higher education will skyrocket leaving taxpayers drowning in red ink.
