Huttleston House to Re-Open as Emma Jean’s Deli

Emma Jean's Cupcake Factory, Ice Cream Shoppe, and Deli?

That's the word from owner Kathy Melanson, who says she has purchased the former Huttleston House Restaurant, and plans to re-open it as a New York-style deli. The deal was finalized last week, and Melanson tells WBSM News Fairhaven is lacking a good deli.

Melanson says the deli under the Emma Jean label will open in April of 2013, and says the building will likely be renovated to match the bright feel of the original Emma Jean's Cupcake Factory.

Melanson has enlisted the help of Jeff Antil, former owner of Antil's Specialty Meat Market, to manage the store.
