As predicted, hurricane Sandy has started to pound the Soutchoast. She has reached New Bedford, and now they say it will be hit the hardest in terms of wind and rain.

This footage taken by WBSM near New Bedford's South End. As you can tell, the waves have already began to crash onto land. Mayor Mitchell has suggested that people living ocean side should evacuate. A state of emergency has been declared in the city, and across the state.
