Hundreds Killed In Brazil Nighclub Fire
Early Sunday morning a deadly fire broke out at a popular nightclub in Southern Brazil, and now at least 220 people are dead, and firefighters expect the death toll to climb.
According to the report, most of the people died due to smoke inhalation, and others were trampled during the panic to get out of the club. The death toll from the Santa Maria club is not final, and they expect more to come.
Officials believe the fire was caused by pyrotechnics, going off during the show – very similar to the nightclub tragedy from Rhode Island back in 2003.
