How to Celebrate New Year’s Eve in New Bedford

The City of New Bedford and A-Ha invite you to "City Celebrates" tonight! It's a great way to ring in the new year.

There will be music and entertainment at various locations in downtown New Bedford starting with the Opening Ceremonies at 4:30 p.m. Mayor Jon Mitchell and the New Bedford City Council will get things going at City Hall with the Show Stoppers and Miss Massachusetts and Miss New Bedford.

The Magic of Lyn with Lyn Dillies will be at the Zeiterion at 5:30 and 6 p.m.

The night will wrap up with fireworks at 8:30 p.m. over New Bedford harbor.
