Like most young people, I suffer from breakouts. My oily skin is flawed with blemishes and clogged pores. I use the nose strips, drawing the blackheads from my hair follicles like magnets. But I hope that doing at least one of these home remedies will help cure my acne prone skin without having to buy a particular product. Top 10 Remedies compiled a great list of treatments, but I'm only going to highlight the ones that I really want to try with my friends one day. Mini spa day anyone?

1. Baking Soda

You can create a paste by mixing two teaspoons of baking soda with mineral water. Apply and massage the paste on the affected area. Let it dry for a few minutes, then rinse it off using warm water. Repeat once or twice a week for best results.

2. Cinnamon

A thick paste of cinnamon and honey can be used to remove and prevent blackheads. Just one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey will do the trick. This is an overnight mask you apply before bed, but make sure you wash your face thoroughly in the morning. You can do this daily for 10 days, give or take.

3. Lemon Juice

This one's good for all skin types. Mixing lemon juice with salt, yogurt and honey makes a great facial scrub. Exfoliate daily for up to two weeks.

4. Honey

Honey is a great way to hydrate your skin, but it also tightens the pores as well! For a clear complexion, apply a layer of pure honey on your face for ten minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water.
