Count the times you've been stuck in an endless line of traffic waiting to park at Horseneck Beach. The crowds are getting larger and the parking spaces seem to be dwindling. So in response to the growing problem, Westport Town officials are thinking about having a satellite parking location and shuttling the crowds to one of three town beaches on weekends!

The satellite parking lot would be behind Town Hall on Main St. The same shuttle vans used to bus seniors to doctor's appointments and other places during the week, are not in use on the weekends. The town could bus beach-goers to either Knubble Beach, Cherry & Webb Beach and East Beach. The idea, if passed, may be tested as an experiment during the busy Labor Day Weekend. Do you think this is a good idea and would you take the shuttle to the beach?
