Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson says he's resolved his contract differences with the union representing his Corrections Officers, and a ratification vote should happen very soon.

Hodgson met with union officials for about 30 minutes on Thursday to resolve  management rights.  He says the union is now preparing for a vote.

The Sheriff says C-O's were pressuring the union to more foreward on the contract...

The package, if approved, will give corrections officers a $10,000 boost in pay, bringing their salaries in line with C-O's in other parts of the state.

The funding was approved recently by the state legislature
