The Berkshire Hathaway Mill in the south end is being torn down. The mill has been on the market with an asking price of 500 thousand dollars but according to owner Roland Letendre there were no takers. Letendre conceded that the mill was in "rough shape" and needed about $1 million in repairs. He added he has no plans to re develop the property but says that he has people interested in the land. The mill had historic significance because it's where bilionaire Warren Buffet's investment career began. Buffet was offered a chance to buy the building but he turned down the offer.
