She's going to do it.

Hillary Clinton will be a candidate for president in 2020. The two-time loser has been sending strong signals that she intends to run again, but none quite so direct as her statement on Friday that she wants it--bad! Mrs. Clinton told an audience at New York's 92nd Street Y: “I’d like to be president.”

Hillary Clinton believes she was cheated out of the nomination in 2008, and then had the 2016 election stolen from her by Jim Comey, subservient white women and the Russians. After wandering the woods of Chappaqua for a few weeks, she and Bill formulated a plan to make her relevant again.

Truth is, most Democrats would rather have root canal surgery than see Hillary again, but what's a girl to do when she feels entitled?

The further truth is that Hillary might have a better chance in a crowded field of weak candidates like Liz Warren, Joe Biden and Cory Booker than most would like to admit.

Hillary Clinton has made it clear that she intends to remain front and center for a long time. Whether she ultimately decides to seek the Democrat nomination for president will be determined in part by the 13-city national tour she and Bill will launch after the midterms.

I have to admit the thought of a Trump-Clinton rematch in 2020 does sound like a lot of fun. What do you think?
