Massachusetts State Police say two local men have been arrested after a traffic stop in Taunton.

Police pulled the Hyundai over at around 7pm Thursday night on Oak Street for motor vehicle violations. During the stop, police searched the vehicle and uncovered 25 grams of heroin and $2,500 in cash.

Police immediately arrested the driver, 38-year-old Kevin Miles of Lakeville, and the passenger, 29-year-old Kevin Cambria of Taunton.

Miles is charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws and knowingly being present where heroin is kept. Cambria is charged with trafficking heroin and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Both are being held pending appearance in Taunton District Court.
