The Bristol County District Attorney's Office has filed an appeal with the Supreme Judicial Court regarding witness testimony in the Aaron Hernandez Trial.

In their 10 page filing the DA's office says they wanted to call a witness named Robert Paradis regarding comments he heard regarding a .45 caliber weapon.

Hernandez allegedly told Paradis he had a .45 caliber weapon, which was the same caliber of gun that killed Odin Lloyd.

They say that bears directly on one of the charges against Hernandez, illegal possession of a firearm, saying it is tantamount to a confession.

The filing also claims that the ruling barring Paradis's testimony constitutes a "clear error of judgement."

They have requested a hearing on this matter as soon as possible.
