Several items of evidence have been blocked by Judge Susan Garsh in the murder trial of Aaron Hernandez. Judge Garsh had previously ruled the prosecution could not use text messages sent by Odin Lloyd to his sister minutes before he was killed.

While the jury was out of the courtroom, Assistant District Attorney William McCauley today questioned that ruling, and tried to persuade Judge Garsh to allow him to question Lloyd's sister about those texts.

Garsh denied McCauley's request.

Lloyd's sister was not brought to the stand as a result of the momentary courtroom dispute.
