HBO NOW Launches

Want to watch all your favorite HBO shows, but don't want to get cable? As of today you can!

HBO has officially launched their HBO NOW streaming service on Apple and Optimum Online allowing fans of the network to have it as a standalone streaming service that doesn't require users to have cable at all.

It's the first time HBO has offered their network this way and I think they'll be getting lots of subscribers pretty quickly. Game of Thrones season five does start this Sunday night after all!

And to sweeten the deal, HBO is offering all customers that sign up in April a 30-day introductory free trial period.

After that for a $14.99 per month fee, you can it all! Acclaimed series like True Detective and The Sopranos. All the movies, documentaries and music specials they air will be available as well and you can take it with you anywhere you can get online!

HBO becomes the first cable network to offer their channel as a standalone streaming service, but if it goes well for them I imagine others will be getting on board as well.
