Hawthorn Medical Building New Facility

Hawthorn Medical Associates is expanding once more.

The health care organization held a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday for a new, state-of-the-art facility next to their main facility on Faunce Corner Road in Dartmouth. The three-story, 126,700sq. ft. building will include a women's center, pediatrics, internal medicine, orthopedics, a rehab center, OB/GYN services, a laboratory, and a walk-in urgent care center.

Fifteen physicians and support staff will be added to the Hawthorn family as a part of the project.

The building is expected to open to the public in the fall of 2014.
