Hawthorn Medical in Dartmouth Getting Expansion

Hawthorn Medical Associates in Dartmouth is expanding. Its headquarters on Faunce Corner Road is adding a 120,000-square-foot medical office on its grounds which nearly doubles the size of its current facility there. Hawthorn CEO James Gularek says that the expansion will make room for the company's expanded services and staff. The addition will increase the services Hawthorn already offers, including a women's center, pediatrics, primary care, orthopedics, a rehab center, obgyn services, diagnostic imaging, a laboratory and a walk-in urgent care center.

Work is expected to begin at the site next month and culminate in July 2014.
