March through August is tornado season. This year, March was a lamb but signs are pointing to a more active April.

According to Homefacts.com, New Bedford was struck by an F3 tornado in 1953, the same year of the powerful Worcester Tornado that killed 90 people. Between 1950-1995, over 135 tornadoes have struck the Bay State, including Martha's Vinyard and Nantucket.

Antarctica is the only place on earth where you're safe from tornadoes. However, you ain't seen nothin' 'til you've witnessed a tornado drive straw into a tree, like an arrow! An Arkansas memory branded in my mind.
