Two harbor seals, sent to Mystic Aquarium about a year ago, have returned to the Buttonwood Park Zoo.  Sandy and Yellow were swimming in their new, refurbished seal area on Thursday, with Mayor Jon Mitchell welcoming them back home.  Acting Zoo Director Shara Crook-Martin tells WBSM News, a new heating and cooling system has been installed, along with new shade areas for the seals....

A roof over the seal tank is also being planned.  Mayor Mitchell says the city borrowed $400,000 to pay for the improvements.

A third seal named Blue is still in Mystic.  It seems she was not interested in coming back, but zoo staffers will try again in the near future.
