The accused Washington Navy Yard gunman spent the night at a Thai Buddhist temple in Raynham last month.

Monks say Aaron Alexis asked for a place to stay on the 18th of August saying he was hearing voices. They say he spoke their language fluently, left the next day and was polite and respectful.

Alexis died in a gunfight with police after allegedly killing 12 people in Monday's shooting rampage.
