Seekonk Town Administrator Shawn Cadime has been accused of an ethics violation.

The International City/County Management Association publicly sanctioned Cadime on their website for violation of Tenet 7 of group's Code of Ethics.

Tenet 7 says that members must "refrain from all political activities which undermine public confidence in professional administrators. Refrain from participation in the election of the members of the employing legislative body."

Cadime ran for Mayor of Fall River in the recent recall election and the group says that during that during that campaign Cadime raised thousands of dollars and received an endorsement from the Fall River firefighters' union.

Former Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter ultimately won that election, replacing recalled Mayor Wil Flanagan.
