Great Skiing at Ragged Mountain in New Hampshire

The cold weather is here and the ski resorts are open!  I have visited many ski area's in New England over the years and this was my first visit to Ragged Mountain Resort.

Ragged Mountain is located in Danbury New Hampshire, about three hours from the Southcoast.  Ragged is a family friendly mountain and is a true find.  They have great snow making and feature a six passenger lift that gets you to the top of the mountain in no time and because they take six at a time the line moves very quickly.

I spoke to some regulars to the mountain and they called it their country club!  The lodge is quite spacious and the bar features a friendly staff.  The apres ski party was a blast with a dj keeping the music pumping for kids and adults.  There is a plan to expand Ragged over the next few years, a plan that includes condo's and adding new lifts.
