Google Searches Show Voters Care About the Economy

The economy is the topic voters care about most in this presidential election cycle, based on their Google searches. 

Abbi Tatton with the Google Elections Team says people are turning to Google and YouTube campaign videos to find out more about the candidates and key issues like the federal budget and debt.

Speaking from this week's Republican National Convention in Tampa, Tatton says the Google team is finding Americans are busy searching for more information about the convention speakers and what they're talking about.  Tatton says that after yesterday's speech by Ann Romney, there was a spike in Google searches about her and the Romney family.
