Gloucester Man Disembowels Pit Bull To Retrieve His Drugs

Is what is a sad and sick story out of Gloucester, Massachusetts, a pit bull was found dead on Tuesday, and it's body had been ripped open. The man responsible, is now in custody.

On Tuesday, the disemboweled bbody of a pit bull was found in Gloucester. Gloucester police are now reporting that they have arrested the dogs owner, John Dugan.

Dugan reportedly cut open his dog to retrieve heroin from inside of it. The 1 1/2 year old dog was female. Dugan has been charged with animal cruelty. Police also found other drug related products in his home.

Dugan is the owner of another dog, a male, who has been turned over to animal control.
