Giant Idaho Potato Meets Mr. Potato Head at Hasbro

Forget about KP-duty or the peeler, America's monstrously gigantic potato will be trucked into Hasbro Toys headquarters, in Pawtucket, to meet Mr. Potato Head, the classic children's toy, Friday at 2 pm. 

Take a wild guess at how BIG this potato is. Would you believe it's an incredible 28 feet long, 12 feet wide and nearly 12 feet high! Now that's a baked potato, hold the sour cream!

Speaking of food, the touring potato is on a seven month trek, visiting 28 states and 72 cities in an effort to raise awareness for Meals-On-Wheels, a non-profit organization that delivers meals to homebound seniors.
