German Couple Caught With 200 Tarantulas In Suitcase At Airport

I hate spiders! I do. I can handle just about everything else that raising 4 children has presented me with, but when there's a spider, I freak!

Did you hear the story from Holland today? A customs official in the Netherlands stumbled across what would be my worst nightmare, a suitcase containing 200 live tarantulas! The case belonged to a German couple who had been collecting bugs in Peru. They also came back with dozens of centipedes, crickets, grasshoppers and beetles, hiding in plastic boxes stuffed between their clothes. The critters were confiscated and the couple will face charges.

I happened to read this on a day where I started my morning by walking through a spider web or cobweb getting into my car. Has that ever happened to you? I spent the rest of the morning feeling like something was crawling on me!
