Gas Prices Inch Up In Massachusetts

A gallon of gas in Massachusetts has inched up a penny in the past week, but remains a nickel below the national average.

AAA Northeast reports Monday that the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular is up to $2.34.

The current price is still 7 cents lower per gallon than a month ago and $1.19 lower than at this time last year.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.13 per gallon and as high as $2.59.  (Associated Press)
