The price of a gallon of gasoline in Massachusetts has dropped another nickel.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve, regular has dropped to an average of $3.04 per gallon, which is 6 cents more than the national average.

In-state prices are have now fallen 28 cents per gallon in the past month are 26 cents lower than at the same time a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.88 per gallon and as high as $3.43.
