This week the Fun 107 crew is going to be rolling over to Dartmouth Memorial Stadium to see the Dartmouth Indians host the Durfee Hilltoppers.

The Indians are, of course, the defending Division III Super Bowl champions and after a tough 13-8 loss to Middleborough High School to open the season, they've won their last two games.

Dartmouth snuck past Attleboro High with a 10-0 win in week two and last week they dominated the GNB Voc-Tech Bears, winning 41-7.

After a slow first couple of games, senior running back Chris Martin broke through with a big game for the Indians last week. His work, along with the rest of the backfield who collectively rushed for more than 300 yards, might have finally got this Dartmouth offense on track and ready to go for the rest of the season.

As for Durfee, they've started their season a bit slow as they sit at 1-2 through three games. After a 20-6 loss to Somerset-Berkeley to start the season, the Hilltoppers seemed to get back on track as they took it to Taunton High in week two and got a big 22-8 win. Of course we were on hand last week as Durfee suffered a tough road loss to Fairhaven, losing by a field goal 21-18. The Hilltioppers fell behind 21-6 early but held Fairhaven scoreless in the second half.

If they can crank up the defensive pressure a bit earlier in games and make sure running back Eli Brooks gets a healthy dose of touches and blocking up front on offense, Durfee could be a team to be reckoned with the rest of the season.

Prediction: For now, I see Dartmouth getting the win. They seem to be clicking on offense after a tough start, and their defense has been a strength in all three games so far. Add in the fact that they'll be playing in front of a ruckus home crowd at the Stadium and I think they'll be just too much for the Hilltoppers to handle.

Update: Due to weather issues the game will now be played at Durfee High School in Fall River, tomorrow at 5:00 pm. We still expect to see you all there as we celebrate a great Friday Night Lights game.
