About 75 people attended the 14th annual Frederick Douglas Read A Thon Sunday. Among the readers of the "Narrative Life of Frederick Douglas" included the Mayor, the Superintendent of Schools and the  City Council President. It also included middle school students from Keith, Normandin and Roosevelt schools as well as a person represenitng Nazarene Acadamy. The "Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglas" is Douglas' first of 3 autobiogrpahical books published in 1845 which describes Douglas' life as a slave in Baltimore and his journey to New Bedford.
