Retiring Congressman Barney Frank is donating his personal papers to UMass Dartmouth.

The longtime Congressman is stepping down from his position at the end of the year, and will entrust his personal archives of the last 32 years to the folks at UMass Dartmouth.

University Spokesman John Hoey says the donation will provide an inside look into the issues that have faced the nation.

The collection includes documents concerning gay rights, financial reform, and other key issues that have defined Frank's congressional career.

Hoey says Frank will be a frequent visitor to the Dartmouth campus during his retirement, giving lectures and talking with students throughout the school year.
