The Middleborough Tourism Committee’s Fourth Annual Herring Run Festival will be held on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Oliver Mill Park in Middleboro.

According to South Coast Today.com, Oliver Mill Park is located on the corner of Route 44 and Nemasket St. in Middleboro.

Admission to the event is free. There are three free parking locations, which will be located at the KOA Campground at 438 Plymouth St., the Middleborough COA at 558 Plymouth St., and Middleborough Town Hall at 10 Nickerson Ave.

Free shuttles will be available from these three locations all day long.

For those opting not to take the shuttle, they can still park at 99 North St. for $5 and take the walk down to Nemasket St. for the festival.

For those who love to shop, there will be around 100 merchandise vendors with many local vendors in attendance.

This year’s children’s activities will include face painting, Alpaca petting, fishing games, and science activities.

There will be more than 30 food vendors at the event, which will include Hideaway Restaurant and Trucchis.
