NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police are investigating a series of robberies that took place overnight.

The first robbery was reported at 9:41 P.M. When a 68-year-old male had his wallet stolen by a dark-skinned female on Bullard Street. The victim could not estimate the age of the suspect.

Several minutes later at 9:45 P.M., a 19-year-old man walking on Conduit Street was approaced by three or four men who took his backpack, a chain, an iPhone and a charger, and his house keys. The victim could only identify one of the suspects as a white male.

Later Monday night, at 11:01 P.M., a 21-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were walking in Dias Field near Nauset Street when they were approached by four black men wearing hoodies. One of the men showed what appeared to be a handgun with another one displaying a knife. The men asked what the couple had on them and the male victim tried to fight them off. The suspects fled with an iPhone and keys.

No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.

Police are actively investigating the incidents.
